Design Philosophy
Inspiration.
Using our own expertise, we transform ideas into design. Our designs incorporate environment, budget, time and client needs.
Collaboration.
We work in partnership with our clients, listening to their thoughts and needs. Our dedication to drafting detailed drawings helps clients realize design goals while helping to reduce costly construction errors.
Realization.
From idea to execution, we never lose sight of a client's vision. Because we consider context, the final result is a design in harmony with its environment and its inhabitants.
Firm History
Miranda Architects, formerly Beer, Stauffer & Associates, was established in 1981 by architect David W. Beer. Michael Stauffer joined the firm in 1988 and became managing partner in 1993. José L. Miranda, Jr. succeeded him in 2001 after a decade with the firm.
Based on Amelia Island, Miranda Architects has more than 20 years experience designing homes in Duval and Nassau counties. In that time, we've built a diverse portfolio of projects that vary in style and scope to fit the needs of each client.
