Shaw Building

The Shaw Building is located in the Central Business District of Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach. Surrounded by historic context, the Shaw Building design was created to complement the existing streetscape, handle difficult flood zone issues, and incorporate a flexible structural system that allows for the addition of a future second floor. The end result is a building with intricate, historically accurate detailing that enhances its resident businesses and engages visitors with open, awning-shaded storefronts.
