St. Michael Academy Addition
The St. Michael Academy Addition project is a 5,400-square-foot classroom addition to a historic Catholic school (circa 1890s) in the Fernandina Beach Historic District. The greatest design challenge included providing the required additional classrooms on a confined site in a historic context. The design complements the architecture of the original building while allowing the new addition to read as a contemporary design solution.
