St. Augustine Beach Residence #2

This classic Craftsman style, 5,800-square-foot home is situated on two lots in the Sea Colony area of St. Augustine Beach. The site design is accentuated by a courtyard pool area which is embraced by features such as deep porches and breezeways. Connected to the main house by an open breezeway is a three-car garage with guest quarters above. Inspired by shingled homes of the 1920s, this residence is finely detailed with tapered wood columns on brick piers, pre-finished cedar shakes, copper gutters and downspouts, and Brazilian ipe wood porch decking. This attention to detail is carried into the interior with heart pine flooring (recovered from the Flagler Hotel in St. Augustine), stained oak interior doors and Craftsman style light fixtures and door hardware.
